Accessibility statement

What we did to make this page work for everyone, where it still falls short, and how to tell us.

Last reviewed: 18 October 2026

This statement covers our AccessAbilities Expo 2026 page at expo.rollingpandas.studio. We want it to work for everyone who visits, including People of Determination.

What we aim for

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is our target, not a claim that the page meets every point. We test the page ourselves, with automated checks and by hand, on laptops and phones.

What we did on this page

  • Keyboard. Every link, button and form field works with a keyboard: Tab to move, Enter or Space to use it (one exception below).
  • Visible focus. Whatever has keyboard focus shows a clear outline.
  • Less motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations stop and the content stays still (one exception below).
  • Contrast. We check text and buttons against their backgrounds, aiming for at least 4.5:1 for normal text (one exception below).
  • Forms. Every field has a visible label. If something is missing, the message says what to add and the cursor moves to that field.
  • Images. Pictures that carry meaning have a text description. Decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
  • Structure. One main heading, clear section headings, and the page language set to English, so screen readers can find their way around.
  • Phones. The page fits a phone screen without sideways scrolling.
  • No overlay. There is no accessibility widget on top of the page. We fix the code itself.

Known gaps

We found these in our own checks. They are on our fix list.

  • No skip link yet. Keyboard users press Tab four times to get past the header.
  • The second gift card. With animations on, Tab skips the gift card near the end of the page until you scroll to it. The gift card at the top works.
  • Reduce motion on large screens. On laptops and desktops, the dark “Purpose, People, Progress” section shows its text layered on top of itself. Phones are fine.
  • Text that darkens as you scroll. Some headings start pale grey and darken as they come into view. Until then their contrast is low. With reduce motion on, they show in full straight away.
  • The moving logo strip. It scrolls on its own and has no pause button. It stops while a mouse pointer is over it, and stays still with reduce motion on.

Tools we don't build

  • Booking a call. “Book a time” opens Calendly’s booking calendar over the page. We built the window around it: it has a label, Escape closes it, and focus goes back to the link you used. The calendar inside is Calendly’s. If it gives you trouble, message us and we’ll find a time with you.
  • WhatsApp. Our chat links open WhatsApp, which works the way WhatsApp builds it. Email reaches the same people.
  • Other sites. Links to our clients’ sites and to LinkedIn, Instagram, Behance and Dribbble lead to pages this statement doesn’t cover.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this page gets in your way, tell us. We reply within one business day.

It helps to know which part of the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use, if you're happy to share it. If something blocks you, we can send you the same information by email or WhatsApp instead.
