These are starting prices. Your exact price comes in writing before you sign, and it doesn't move after that unless the scope grows.
What moves a store up a tier
The amount of work decides the price, not your revenue: how many products you have, what connects to the store, and what has to be built.
Catalog size
On most platforms, under 1,000 SKUs is our smallest tier, and over 10,000 is our largest.
Integrations
An ERP, a 3PL or subscriptions each take planning and testing, and many of them push a store into the largest tier.
Several markets
More than one language or currency adds work on every template and every redirect.
A custom checkout
Shopify hosts the checkout, so old checkout code doesn't move. Custom steps need Shopify Plus and new work.
A headless build
A storefront built outside Shopify's themes is its own project.
What the price includes
Every tier moves your data, sets up your redirects and supports you after launch, and the larger tiers add custom work.

A migration app or an agency?
Migration apps price by how much you move, and they copy data, while an agency also plans the redirects, rebuilds features and tests the store.
An app can be enough when
- Your catalog is small and simple
- Google brings you little traffic
- You have no custom features or integrations
Hire a team when
- Google traffic pays your bills
- An ERP, a 3PL or subscriptions are involved
- You need a new design with the move
LitExtension's estimator adds up products, orders, customers and blog posts. Matrixify sets its plans by store size. For a small, simple store, an app can be all you need.
What you pay Shopify after the move
Our price covers the move, and Shopify's plan, card fees and any paid apps are separate monthly costs.

What is free, and what isn't
The migration is paid work, and the free part is a Google traffic check for stores with $1M or more a year in online sales.
Free: the traffic check
Within 2 business days: your top Google pages, where each lands on Shopify, what breaks, and the fixed price for the project in writing.
Free: the calculator
An estimate in about 30 seconds, for any store, with nothing to sign.
Paid: the migration
From the starting prices above, at a fixed price in writing before you sign.
How to keep the cost down
The cheapest work is work you don't need, so clear out what you won't take with you before anyone prices the move.
Clean the catalog
Remove dead products and duplicates before the count sets your tier.
Drop what you don't use
Each plugin or extension you cut is one less thing to replace.
Keep your design for now
Design replication is part of our smallest tier. You can redesign later.
Move before a deadline forces you
A Magento version running out of support is a reason to plan now, not in a rush.
